Mike & Patti’s Glenmore Sailing Club Wedding

I loved being part of Mike and Patti’s intimate wedding at the Glenmore Sailing

Club earlier this month. When I met with these two to talk about shooting

their wedding, I felt instantly connected to them and their plans for their

wedding day. They wanted to make it all about friends and family and a

simple intimate celebration with the people closest to them. If you saw their

whole wedding gallery you will see just how connected they are with everyone

that they love. In so many photos of them just talking to friends, Patti would

have her hand on a girlfriends leg or back and when Mike hugs people

he always pulls them in gently by the back of their head. Its a real hug you

know not like those awkward hugs where you feel like the person doesn’t

actually want to touch you ha ha. Below is Mike & Patti’s wedding day

but first a few words from them.

Most memorable moment from your wedding day?

Bride- It is difficult to pick just one memorable moment. From the morning I opened my

eyes to the many, many, many hours after when I closed them, every moment was memorable.

Surrounded by family and amazing friends all celebrating our love. The most memorable

for me was standing across from Mike, holding his hands in mine, and knowing there was no other

place I wanted to be for the rest of my life. So overwhelming. And then I dropped an

f-bomb in the middle of my vows! I just couldn’t help myself!

Groom – So many amazing moments from the day…. For over 8 years, Patti

has looked at me in a way like no other… her eyes and her amazing smile have always made

my heart melt, and my heart pound… but the moment she looked at me as my “Wife”

will forever be in my heart and mind , as I knew I truly married my best friend,

my biggest support and the love of my life.

Tell me about the special aspects of your day that made it unique to you two?

We always talked about our wedding being a party for friends and family ,

that we also got married at! For us, it was really about the people and the atmosphere

of the day/night. We were surrounded by so many people that have supported us, and loved us

throughout our lives and relationship. It was the “Love” and fun in the air that could only exist

with genuine, and deep relationships. Our day was Authentic Patti and Mike,

and that what we wanted!

Selfie stick fun! Best man to the rescue with pre ceremony beverages for the ladies. Gotta love some fun socks! People love to snoop at weddings, so naturally in a public park we had lots of people stopping and watching the festivities. Below is the aftermath of when she dropped the F-bomb ha ha! ROMANCE!!!! Over a hundred weddings and this is a first for me. The held her hands and kept kissing them (insert a 100 heart icons here) They had Limonciello made the real way. It was like drinking lemon meringue pie…yeah I tried it. YUMMMMMDad & Daughter. In his speech he said that her marriage inspires him. Amazing Serious style on this groom!! LOVE itThe connection these two have is something quite spectacular. Shoe game on fleek!
