Destination Wedding Photographer | B & M's Cozumel Rock the Dress Session Teasers | Calgary Wedding Photographers

These two newlyweds are currently making their way back to Canada

so I decided to get a little teaser post ready for them to see when

they arrive back at home tonight. Brian & Margaret got married

on Monday at Hard Rock Hotel in Cancun, Mexico and they opted

to do their day after rock the dress session on the island of Cozumel.

Cozumel is so fricken fantastic cause it is where you find all the character

of Mexico that was lost in the Cancun. We got off the ferry and after doing

a quick change in the bathroom we started to wonder the streets to look

for spots. One of my favorite things about being a destination wedding photographer

is the rock the dress sessions. I love using some more edgy editorial posing

but still mixing in my regular romantic stuff. The character of Cozumel was

perfect for this. The first spot we found was this great concrete wall with some

old paint chipping off, after that I spotted the cute pink gate and while we were

walking towards the gate I gasped and nearly fell over when I saw the

little courtyard with the yellow door! It was perfect! It was all the character

of Mexico in one little tiny space. From there we rushed to a taxi stand and

said we need a beach…before the sun sets and our taxi driver drove well

over the speed limit to get us to a private beach just in time for the last

few minutes of light!!
