A little bit about Ron & Chantel’s Elopement
Ron and Chantel’s intimate summer elopement at Wedge Pond in Kananaskis was
romantic, peaceful, and full of heartfelt moments. Surrounded by still water, mountain
views, and the quiet beauty of the Canadian Rockies, their day felt adventurous while
still deeply personal. My approach is always to document elopements in a way that feels
timeless, relaxed, and true to each couple — capturing both the landscape and the
motion in a romantic, natural way.
Their intimate elopement was just the two of them and their two witnesses. They kept it laid back and true
to them by arriving together and walking to start the ceremony together. There was nothing but smiles,
connected moments and pure love between them from the moment they stood together to say
their vows until the very last pose of them standing in front of the beautiful mountains!
