Baby Walker’s Lifestyle Newborn Session

Not only do I feel like the luckiest girl to come back from holiday and
get straight back to working my dream job, but my first shoot back was
with beautiful Baby Walker and his amazing parents. I have known these
two for 5-6 years and I shot their engagement photos back in 2013. They got
married in the summer of 2013 and sadly I couldn’t shoot their wedding but
I am overjoyed that I got to capture their connection with their
beautiful baby boy. Walker was a gem today at his shoot, he was alert for
a big chunk of it but he kept looking at mom and dad and at my camera.
Then towards the end he fell asleep and we got some amazing shots
of him sounds asleep and looking extra adorable.
This is one of the first lifestyle newborn sessions that I am sharing on
my blog. I just recently started shooting them in January and I am so
in love with the intimacy of these shoots. Don’t get me wrong I absolutely
love those perfectly posed baby shots with cute outfits and props but I am
happy to refer those out to friends who specialize in them. For me I am
all about the natural connection and the moments I capture in these
lifestyle newborn sessions. I shoot these sessions at my brand new studio in
Airdrie and cause my studio is set up for boudoir it has a bed and a couch so it
is a perfect setting for these sessions as well. I am booking now for spring-fall sessions
