A little bit about this Cozy Fish Creek Park Maternity Session

The best sessions always involve dogs! This session was extra amazing with these two

cutie dogs!! We got a beautiful fall day for this cozy session and they dressed perfectly.

What you wear to your session really should match the season. These warm knits not only

looked great but they were perfect for fall.

A little bit about this Casual Studio Maternity Session

Jaenessa is a previous client who came back to see me for this beautiful in studio

maternity session. Once of my favourite outfits for studio maternity sessions is open

jeans with a Calvin Klein Bra. It is just such a good combo. Allows the bump to show

but still has that casual lifestyle look.

A little bit about this snowy Fish Creek Park Couples Session

This session is so perfectly my style. It is relaxed and posed and connected! I always

aim to create a comfortable experience for my clients giving them lots of direction and letting them

know exactly what to do. We got such a gorgeous day for this session! We met at Fish Creek Park and

went through the woods to the frozen river bed! Miss Cali was having the time of her life in the snow

while we do the photo shoot and posed perfectly!

A little bit about this dreamy Tuscany Villa Session

This is a long overdue blog post but better now then never!! If I was to dream up a session

that I always wanted to shoo it would be this session. A destination with one of my long time

clients who I know well and who completely trust me and my style.

I photographed their wedding in the Dominican over 10 years ago and since then I have

photographed them several more times including a romantic beach session in Mexico.

When their friends hired me for their destination wedding in Tuscany we instantly connected

to set up a couples session for them while we were all there together.

My friend and I spent almost an entire day scouting locations only to end up shooting

right at the Villa we were staying at. It was so gorgeous with the old brick, the gorgeous country

road right out front and the pool with rolling hills behind!

I have been blogging all day and running out of things to type!

I could ask ChatGPT for some help (which i am not against)

but going to keep things real here today!

Blogging is a love/hate part of my job for me!

I love that it gives me the opportunity to share my work.

I love that it can help me find new clients.

I love going back to sessions that I likely haven’t look at at months.

But…

I hate the actual process of it. And I can get lazy with it.

Often I just say eff the alt tags i am not doing them ha ha!

Let me tell you a little bit about my studio portraits

1) I call them portraits and not headshots cause they are more laid back and casual then a traditional headshot.

I also feel headshots are often more cropped in but I shoot these more full body and half body!

2) I shoot these in my studio that is located in Airdrie. They can be added to a boudoir session or booked on

their own!

3) I offer this style of studio portraits against this tan backdrop or against a black one. I just got my black one recently

so there is nothing on the blog with the black one but you can find them on my Instagram!
