I lucked out big time when I met his beauty and her hubby!  Not only is Chantal a mega rad

person but she is also an amazing photographer and the cherry on top of that perfect

friendship is that our husbands get along too! Which is a major win in my books.  Chantal and my

friendship began back in 2016 when she accompanied me to a wedding I had booked in Mexico.

We barely knew each other at the time and here we were traveling together for a week.

It could have went so bad but it went so so good. Fast forward a year and she came with me a

again to Mexico for a wedding…maybe that is why she keeps me around ha ha.  When we

were in Mexico the second time our husbands decided to meet and moan about the fact

that we were off getting tanned and tipsy for a week while they were suffering through

the cold Calgary winter.  After a second Mexico trip and a summer camping adventure we

decided to book a holiday to Palm Springs together and while we were there we exchanged

mini sessions. Chantal shot Paul and I for about 5 minutes in Joshua Tree after we did

our photoshoot there is an American photographer and I photographed them for about

15 minutes on Santa Monica beach. As much as I love the beach he light was super harsh

when we started their session and it was so busy with tourists that we were limited but

I embraced it and we created a little bit of magic in 15 short minutes.
