I say it all the time but I really am so so lucky when I get to capture my couples over and

over again. Engagement, wedding, maternity and then the cherry on top is their

lifestyle newborn session. I feel like way back when I started shooting weddings newborn

photography was different. Or maybe I just didn’t pay enough attention but I do not

remember lifestyle newborn sessions being around at all or if they were they were

not as common as they are now. It took me years of shooting weddings and couples

before I tried lifestyle newborn. When I built my new studio I thought, maybe I will try

these sessions in my studio first and see how they go and once I shoot them in the

studio I will try them in couples homes. Well it basically took one session and I was hooked

with the amazingness of lifestyle newborn sessions. They are just so simple and pure and

full of love. And all the parents have to do is stare at their baby for an hour and lets

face it they want to do that anyway ha ha. I absolutely love these sessions both in

studio and in home. If you are thinking of doing one and not sure if the studio or your

home is better then please just send me an email. All photographers are different but for me

my style is all natural light so it is nice to have lots of light in the nursery, living room and

master bedroom which is where so do the shooting.  But I can basically adapt to all homes,

I have shot in homes with bright blue and green walls cause my couple loved color and I have

have shot in dark homes with rich dark brown everywhere. The photos just look a little

different but the connection is always there.
