Some people will say that photographers should specialize and I used to agree. When I started

doing photography back in 2009 I said that I wanted to just do couples. And I fell in love

with shooting couples and weddings, and then I branched off into boudoir as well and I equally

fell in love with boudoir sessions. It was not until January 2016 when I considered adding

newborns to the types of sessions that I offered. I asked a friend who was expecting to model

for me when their little one came along and from that very first session I was hooked. So

although I do not offer everything, I do offer everything that I love shooting. Lifestyle newborns

are just so special and they bring something to my business that weddings and boudoir can’t bring.

Sometimes it feels a little selfish capturing them as it brings me so my happiness and joy.

There is something so spectacular about capturing these new moments and these

amazing connections. And they are even more special when fur babies are involved in

the session ha ha. Cooper and Janelle chose me to capture both their maternity session and

their little girls in home newborn session and I don’t like to pick favorites but I will say

that their home is one of my absolute favorites that I have shot in. It is full of amazing

light and light colors which bounce that light around and their design sense it

impeccable. They are such a sweet couple and Miss Wynter was an absolute rock star

and powered through her session in about 40 quick minutes .
