Lets chat a little bit about portrait sessions

I offer three different styles of portrait sessions. They are all offered as a mini session style. And I shoot

them all in my in home studio that is located in Airdrie. I have developed this style to have casual laid

back feel with directed posing that works with different angles of the body to create interest and give you

gorgeous dynamic final images! Sometimes the images have a more playful feel, sometimes they

feel more edges and sometimes they have a bit more of a professional vibe. Even though the posing is

all similar, the feel of the images depends on the client and their wardrobe.

Hi, I’m Monica Cumberbatch, the photographer behind Red Bloom Photography — the one behind the

camera, the computer, and all of the endless social media posts for Red Bloom Photography

I first fell in love with photography in 2008, during the search for our own wedding photographer.

That experience sparked a passion for documenting meaningful moments

and beautiful connections, and it quickly grew into what is now Red Bloom Photography.

Red Bloom Photography is a Calgary-based elopement and boudoir photographer,

also specializing in Calgary lifestyle newborn photography and Canadian Rockies

elopement photography. I photograph intimate weddings and elopements in Calgary, Banff,

Canmore, and Kananaskis, and I also love documenting couples through engagement sessions,

maternity sessions, and lifestyle photography.

My style is romantic, timeless, and heartfelt — focused on creating images that feel natural, emotional,
