I was packing my bags for this couples wedding this weekend and remembered
that I haven’t blogged their session yet! Only about 15 months later and it
finally makes it to my blog. I shot this amazing session last winter in the
Canadian Rockies and their is no better back drop for photos then those
stunning mountains. Erick & Stephanie came all the way from Saskatoon for
their session so we were hoping for some good weather. Driving into
the mountains we hit some pretty nasty weather and we started to talk about
not being able to shoot. But we parked the car when we got there and the
weather gods smiled down on us. It started to get chilly and a bit snowy
towards the end, but nothing that winter coats couldn’t help with. I get excited
for every wedding but this wedding has me more excited then any others in the
last couples years cause the bride is my little cousin and we grew up in the same
town and extremely close as families.Her & Erick have been together for…well for
as long as I can remember as they are high school sweethearts. I just adore so many
photos from this session and I can’t wait to spend Saturday documenting their
