I don’t know if I have ever photographed a more smiley, happy, lively wedding!

These two wanted a celebration of love and family and that is exactly what it was! I am trying to rewind

my memories two years to remember and that is not easy ha ha. But what I do remember is smiling,

connections, playfulness. There is one thing everyone kept saying about Derek is that he would do

anything and everything for the people he loves and that he never stops smiling! And only spending

one day(and their engagement session) with them I knew this was so true!

Their wedding was summer 2020 and we all know what 2020 was like. I remember talking on

the phone with Ashley in the spring when things were so up in the air about weddings still and

she said they were getting married that date no matter what! For them the marriage was

the most important over the wedding! They could have a celebration at a later date but they wanted

to say their I do’s on their original wedding date! And lucky for them, they held onto their date and they

held out hope for their dream wedding and they got it. It might have been a little smaller(i think) then

originally planned but they had their kids and their family and friends there!

AND AND they got married at one of my favorite venues Cornerstone in Canmore!

Information about wedding bookings

As of spring 2021 I am only now accepting bookings for elopements and intimate weddings.

After 12 years and over 200 weddings, I have decided so shift my focus to

smaller intimate weddings of under 30 people and photography coverage of 3-4 hours and

true elopements just the couple and their witnesses. I can even be a witness myself.

I am taking just a handful of these a year with the focus on mountains and weekdays.
