I will say it 100 times over again and again. Winter is just the most beautiful time to shoot.

I am a big fan of the snow and the magic of winter couples sessions. They can definately come

with challenges if it is too cold. I usually recommend rescheduling if it is too cold as there is no

reason to fresh ears, fingers and toes unless you have to! But luckily in the Calgary area we get

some pretty beautiful winter days and it feels almost springish if it comes right after a cold spell.

On this session date we had lovely weather! There was not freezing cold toes or fingers!

We met in Fish Creek Park and did not have to explore far to find some beautiful winter spots.

These two were so cute together and even asked me to photograph their wedding but at this time

I had already decided that I would be taking a break from weddings after summer 2022. It is hard

to say no to couples that are so sweet and connect with my style but I knew that after the crazy

rollar coaster of being a wedding photographer through Covid that I wanted to take a break from

weddings!  This may be a permanent break. But I am still booking elopements!
