Brisk air, the last remnants of fall colors and total romance is what this shoot is all about.
Scott & Jade booked me for their engagement photos in October last year and
even though all the leaves had nearly fallen we managed to find a stunning location
with stunning light for their session. I always say it, but I really do mean it when I
say that I get the best couples. They are so intimate and adventurous and they
trust me and follow my posing guidance. The truth is, is the more I shoot the more that
I find my couples come to me for me and my style. I used to get these crazy pinterest board
requests with photos in 10 different styles and editing techniques and corny stuff that
you will never put on your wall or if you do you won’t keep it on your wall. And now my
couples get it that sessions are about them and their connection. And this makes
me so happy and so fulfilled as a photographer.

What is your guys idea of a perfect day together?
Our perfect day together would involve grabbing Starbucks coffee and heading out to the mountains to
spend the day outside hiking. We would pick up take out on the way home and eat it while watching a movie at home.
What are you most looking forward to about your wedding day?
The first look! We are waiting to do the first look until I (Jade) am walking down the aisle, so it will be exciting and lots of build up to it
What’s one part or decision about wedding planning that Is easier then you
thought and one part that Is harder then you thought?
Picking out the venue was easy for us, we ended up falling in love with the first place we looked.
The hardest part is planning and organizing all the little details for the day that you don’t think about, they really add up !
What’s your favorite beverage or food to bring home and surprise your each other with?
Her: Well he likes a lot of food but for dinner probably ribs and fries and I like to surprise him by baking
his favourite cookies or muffins
Him: A bbq roast chicken for dinner
