Sean & Marlies’ Kananaskis Engagement Session

I love an adventurous and intimate engagement session and that is exactly what this mountain session

is all about. I met Sean & Marlies on a brisk fall day in Kananaskis.  We packed our bear spray and mittens

and headed up the 1.5 km hike up to a beautiful waterfall. There was lots of stops along the way cause

this hike is stunning!!!  I love that my couples are so adventurous and outdoorsy.  They always want their

engagement sessions in parks or the mountains and that just works perfectly for me cause those

are my favorite places to shoot!  I can’t wait for S&M’s summer wedding next year!!!

Loving this light peeking through the trees! In the summer water runs down this mossy creek bed so I was so happy that in the fall there was no water so they could stand in it. It isn’t always about being intimate and close, I love the mix of adventurous images and more conceptual modern ones. And then we got to the waterfall….amazing!!!Loving these shots in the woods. Major wing envy! So so in love with their outfits and this location!
