You would never guess with the sunshine in this blog post that it was actually -34c

outside!! Oh boy this was the coldest wedding I have ever photographed but there was no way that

we were hiding inside all day and not capturing the winter magic! Although I must say if you do have to

do some photos inside then The Malcolm Hotel in Canmore is a great place for that! They have a stunning

stairwell that has beautiful light!

This micro wedding was definately micro with Covid Restrictions limiting them to 10 people during

the ceremony. But the 10 people there as completely present to the event. And the room was full of

love with some of the guests having traveled from Ireland. We even had to slightly move the date to

work with the required isolation days at the time! But I was willing to do anything with 

my schedule to be a part of their day.

Being a part of someones wedding day will simply never get old! It was my first love as

a photographer. As I take a step back from big weddings to focus on micro weddings and elopements

I know that those speciall moments are a joy to capture whether there is 2 people present or

200 people present. I am just loving the idea of being a part of the ones with 2 people present!

Information about wedding bookings

As of spring 2021 I am only now accepting bookings for elopements and micro weddings.

After 12 years and over 200 weddings, I have decided so shift my focus to

smaller intimate weddings of under 20 people and photography coverage of 2-4 hours and

true elopements just the couple and their witnesses. I can even be a witness myself.

I am taking just a handful of these a year with the focus on mountains and weekdays.
