Just sitting here in absolute awe of how beautiful and connected this day way. One thing I love

about editing and blogging weddings is reliving the story while I am doing it. And my hope

is that when my couples get their blogs and their galleries that they feel it is a story of their day

and that the photos show more then the big moments but also those little moments that help

piece together their day and help them remember it and relive it.  Mazin & Alyssa got married

on August 11th and it was one very hot and very beautiful day. Their wedding was very intimate

and very heartfelt. You could feel how close they were with all their guests and you heard about

how close they are in all the speeches.  They laughed together, the cried together and it was

amazing! These two got married at Valley Ridge and it is one of my favorite golf courses to shoot at.

I have shot here twice before and have loved it all three times now.  They also used one of my

favorite commissioners, makeup artists and florists so it was like a treat of a day for me ha ha.

And we have to talk about Alyssa’s stunning dress…she tried on 127 to find it and I would say it

was worth the search cause it is absolutely stunning. Her gorgeous dress with the pink bridesmaids

dresses and the men in navy made for one heck of a stylish wedding party!

My relationship with these two actually goes back quite a long time in photographer years as

I did their engagement photos in 2014. Fast forward to early 2016 and they booked me for their

wedding and I was jumping for joy! Mazin & Alyssa’s wedding story is below but first here

are some words from the newly weds.

Navy blue and brown shoes are my favorite groom style combo! I always tell my couples that if they chose to gift each other gifts the morning of to wait for me to be there to capture it. Love capturing them opening their gifts or letters. I just love working with Monika from Glam and Beyond! She is a total pro and a sweetheart as well! Valley Ridge Golf Course has a stunning ceremony and reception space and the food is…AMAZING!! When Alyssa walked down the isle Mazin teared up and his best man was there to help with a tissue and a little back rub!  Talk about perfect light hitting their hands for the ring exchange.  Lighting at ceremonies is not always perfect in fact, if you can chose the direction

of your ceremony layout be sure to consult your photographer and ask them what is best for photos.

The sun was coming in sideways slightly for their ceremony and caused some shadows and in this case the light was magic on their hands. This location was perfect for their photos. Just a short drive from Valley Ridge as we can not shoot on the golf course (very common at golf courses due to safety concerns)Those little guest favors are personalized chocolates…so cool and YUMMY! Can you even believe that her mom made this cake! Wow! Right before their first dance I snuck them into the garden terrace at Vallery Ridge for some sunset photos and we had the most epic light
