Steven & Brandi’s Rock the Dress Session
Moon Palace Golf Resort and Spa Cancun
I shot Steven & Brandi’s wedding in Cancun in January and with
all my destination weddings they are given the option of doing a Rock
the dress session. I usually recommend we do these at sunrise on the
Cancun side cause the light is beautiful and also the beaches are empty
compared to sunset time. The thing is, is I check the sunrise and there
are multiple times such as actual sunrise, nautical twilight and civil twilight
and wanting to get the best images we work up for nautical twilight
which was at 6:30. When we met at 6:15 it was actually pitch black out so
we patiently waited and as the sky started to lighten we were literally
speechless! I have never seen a sky that color in my life. And lucky to have
professional gear we were able to start shooting just minutes after it
was pitch black outside. Steven & Brandi rocked this shoot, they were up
for anything and their chemistry is clearly amazing!!! What I love about
Rock the Dress sessions is they are more relaxed then the wedding day,
and they have more of an editorial sexy and romantic feel to them.
